Adaptative Arma Supports – Quick Reaction Force (AAS – QRF)

AAS – QRF is an addon module for the Adaptative Arma Supports framework. When a simple squad or CAS run isn’t enough, this module allows you to call in a devastating, multi-domain combined arms assault. Carefully crafted behaviour to make it as cinematic and effective as possible.

Built to remain as vanilla as possible without forcing unnecessary dependencies, AAS – QRF integrates seamlessly with your favorite overhauls using One-Click Templates for major frameworks like Antistasi Ultimate/Community, KP Liberation, Overthrow or DUWS-R.

The Four Domains of Assault

Every element is fully toggleable in the CBA settings, allowing you to tailor the size of the QRF to your server’s needs:

  • Pre-Deployment: A low-altitude aircraft performs a lowpass with countermeasures to bait AA. If it’s nighttime, it deploys a custom-scripted flare sequence, illuminating the AO with massive real-life based LUU-2B flares.
  • Air Element: A transport helicopter inserts an 8-man infantry squad directly onto the LZ, flanked and protected by a dedicated Escort helicopter and a CAS element. This infantry squad will proceed to your position and follow your lead.
  • Ground Element: An APC and a heavy Turret/Tank spawn from nearby road networks. The APC pushes the LZ to offload a second 8-man squad while the heavy armor establishes overwatch to suppress the area. This infantry squad will engage directly at the enemy position.
  • Sea Element: If coastal waters are detected, an Amphibious APC and an Attack Boat will deploy. The amphib pushes the beach to drop a diver/infantry team, while the boat provides offshore naval fire support.

Optimized AI & Engagement Logic

Arma 3 AI is notorious for getting stuck, flipping over, or refusing to engage. AAS – QRF utilizes heavy background scripting to force the AI into relentless, aggressive action:

  • Aggressive Infantry: AUTOCOMBAT and COVER behaviors are explicitly disabled for dropped troops. They will not immediately go prone and hide; they will aggressively push and secure the LZ.
  • Forced Naval Fire: The Attack Boat ignores vanilla targeting quirks. Custom scripts lock the gunner onto shoreline enemies and force massive 15-round suppression bursts.
  • Anti-Stuck Pathing: Vehicles are constantly monitored. If an amphibious vehicle or helicopter gets snagged on terrain or pathing nodes, the script will forcefully "flog" the engine with a kinetic push or safely teleport it out of the geometry to keep the assault moving.
  • Garbage Collection: Strict memory management ensures all surviving units RTB and delete themselves, while destroyed wrecks linger for 5 minutes before cleanup to maintain server FPS.

Features & Customization
  • Custom Voice Lines: Adds a few custom voice lines for HQ, pilots, and ground leaders, to help with inmersion.
  • Dynamic Economy: Use One-Click Templates to instantly balance the QRF cost for your active campaign. Advanced users can use the Custom box to write their own resource deduction code for modes not supported.
  • Total Asset Control: Swap out classnames for the planes, helis, tanks, boats, and squads using any modded assets (RHS, CUP, etc.) directly in the CBA options.
  • Zeus/Eden Modules: Zeus/eden module allows game masters to drop a QRF anywhere, instantly bypassing cooldowns and economy checks.

The QRF module is a high-tier support asset. The costs below are the default values provided for a full deployment (Air, Ground, and Sea components combined). These can be customized in the CBA Addon Options.

*KP Liberation: Uses a "Logistical Threshold" system. Resources are NOT deducted from your base; however, you must have at least 350 Supplies, 350 Ammo, and 350 Fuel stored within your FOB to authorize the QRF deployment.
