🔮 Cultist – Draw Omens, Harvest Power!
Adds a new playable character – Cultist, a dark prophet who pulls cursed Omens from the Book of Chaos and turns every wave into a gamble between suffering and power.
🕯 Character Features:
- Starts with Prophecy Stone
- +20 Max HP
- +10 Luck
- -3 Armor
- Built around wave-by-wave risk, adaptation, and long-term scaling
📖 Prophecy Stone Mechanics:
- At the start of each wave, a random Omen is drawn
- The Omen lasts for the entire wave
- After the wave, only the Cultist receives a Purple Chest
- Each chest lets the Cultist choose 1 Cult Stone
- In co-op, the chest is tied to the Cultist and is not given to the whole team
🌘 Possible Omens Include:
- Darkness – only a small illuminated area remains around the Cultist; outside it, players take damage and lose accuracy
- Wrath of the Forest – destroyed trees can summon a Forest Ent
- Swarm – twice as many enemies
- Elite Invasion – every enemy becomes elite
- Cursed Ground – acid pools appear across the battlefield
- Regeneration / Toughness / Strength / Swiftness – enemies become more dangerous
- Fury / Resolve / Haste / Fortune – the player gains temporary advantages
💎 Cult Stones:
- Cult Stone of Power – Armor, Melee Damage, but lower HP Regeneration
- Cult Stone of Knowledge – Engineering, Structure Attack Speed, but lower Armor
- Cult Stone of Money – Harvesting and stronger start-of-wave economy, but lower Attack Speed
- Cult Stone of Blood – Lifesteal and HP Regeneration, but lower Speed
- Cult Stone of Shadows – Dodge and Speed, but lower Max HP
- Cult Stone of War – Ranged Damage and Crit Chance, but lower Armor
🧩 Cult Stone Set Bonuses:
- Collect 5 stones of the same type to unlock a major set bonus
- Collect 10 stones of the same type to unlock an even larger bonus
- Reaching 10 stones of one type also grants special bonus items
🎁 Example 10-Stone Rewards:
- Power – Big Arms, Mammoth
- Knowledge – Diploma, 5 Rocket Turrets
- Money – Padding
- Blood – Bloody Hand
- Shadows – Retromation’s Hoodie, Cape
- War – Ricochet, Night Goggles
