===OVERVIEW===

The goal of this rework is repurpose Drowner’s gameplay as a super-heavyweight frontliner that can demolish both mobs and bosses alike, while retaining the self-damaging aspect of her original design in exchange for such power. She excels in quick skirmishes, but may prove to be a handful to maintain in prolonged battles.

BITE

  • Melee

  • Heals on Kill (healing comes after self damage)


ASSAULT

  • Debuffs target’s PROT and buffs Drowner’s SPD

  • Stun skill, moves Drowner back 1 position

  • Low DMG mod
  • Massive DMG and ACC boost vs Marked

  • Ignores PROT, Riposte, Guard, & Blocks
  • Double CRT chance if target is Stunned or Marked, Tripled if both
  • Debuffs target with increased damage taken
  • High Self Damage


CONTAGION

  • Heal Skill
  • -OOO [OOOO] (cannot heal self)
  • Low Healing, Cures Bleed & Blight, Buffs Bleed & Blight Resist, Grants 1 Block
  • Marks Drowner
  • High Self Damage


OVERCHARGE

  • Self Buff Skill
  • OOOO
  • Free Action, once per Round
  • Massively buffs Drowner’s offense, but doubles the self damage taken from skills
  • No Self Damage

REARM

  • Custom Movement Skill
  • Refreshes Cannon Fire and Pile Bunker
  • Drowner will move first next Round

  • On Attack Hit: Debuff Target: +8% Crits Received


ED-E (CRIMSON COURT)

  • +30% Scouting Chance
  • Ignores Stealth
  • On Attack Hit: Extra Action (10% chance)


FLUORESCENT IRON (CRIMSON COURT)

  • On Hero Hit: Mark Attacker
  • +20% PROT
  • +30% Bleed/Blight Resist
  • -5 SPD

CRIMSON COURT SET EFFECT

  • +50% Virtue Chance
  • +33% Healing Received

===MISC INFO===

Drowner’s crit buff is a SPD buff

When at Death’s Door, Drowner will not take self damage from skills, even if Overcharge is activated.

Due to how DD handles %-based effects, self damage values reduced by Accelerated Symbiosis and Mark of Aram may round differently when Overcharge is active.

Drowner is not Religious.

Drowner does not have barks for a majority of things, defaulting to generic barks.

===FURTHER DEVELOPMENT===

Due to the fact I am no longer actively playing Darkest Dungeon 1, there are no plans to add support for other content such as Sunward Isles, Color of Madness, or any future mods that would need additional content (mostly new trinkets).

Beyond minor maintenance in the event of bugs, glitches, or crashes and potential balance patches, this mod is essentially complete and will not receive any major changes in the future.

Only the English language is supported. If you wish for a different language to be supported, please contact me @beast_a_fish on Discord, or in the comments of the mod.
