AGOT – A Time for Wolves Fix

Fix for the original mod AGOT – A Time for Wolves by @Benoas.

This mod is Standalone, the original mod is not required.

This mod introduces the "A Time for Wolves" bookmark, beginning in the year 305 A.C., based on the finale of HBO’s show, starting after the final episode of Game of Thrones.

It also includes a "War of the Five Queens" start date, set during the first episodes of Season 7.

• King Bran on the Iron Throne
• The Iron Throne is now a feudal elective monarchy
• Queen Sansa ruling an independent North
• Unlanded adventurer Jon Snow at Castle Black, with a decision to reveal his true parentage
• Unlanded adventurer Arya Stark at Oldtown, able to sail west
• Show-accurate Lord Paramounts, including Bronn in the Reach
• Updated history files for most major characters
• Decision to attempt to resurrect Daenerys for certain characters
• Much of the North turned into colonizable wilderness due to the Long Night

• Do not use Legacy of Valyria (mod currently broken as of 04/2026)
• Never load before AGOT+

Titles, De Jure & Stability
• Updated title history and redefined de jure structure
• Fixed broken or missing titles
• Restored northern provinces incorrectly reassigned (Karhold, Last Lands, Hornwood)
• Fixed incorrect reassignment of titles (e.g. Harrenhal, the Gods Eye) after Iron Throne succession
• Removed outdated localizations causing crashes
• Updated outdated references for compatibility with the current AGOT version
• Resolved issues with outdated or removed mechanics
• Fixed buildings and other error-prone elements
• General stability improvements based on error logs
• Cleaned up inconsistencies in characters, dynasties, and the bookmark

Bookmarks, Wars & Adventurers
• Adjusted factions in the War of the Five Queens
• Assigned Euron Crow’s Eye as co-belligerent on Cersei Lannister’s side
• Euron Crow’s Eye will now pursue his own war for the Reach against the Tyrells
• Removed unsettled de jure titles beyond the Wall
• Set The Weeper and Mother Mole as adventurers
• Set the Mutineers as adventurers
• Set the Conqueror’s Band as adventurers, led by Lord Jon Connington, Hand of the True King
• Added effect in the 305 bookmark to release northern prisoners in the Iron Islands

Character & Lore Adjustments
• Fixed Gendry Baratheon dynasty issue
• Legitimized Larence Hornwood (prevents cadet house creation)
• Fixed names for Sansa “Alayne” Stark and Arya “Lady Salty” Stark
• Added death history for Ser Barristan Selmy
• Harold Karstark now dies during the Battle of the Bastards
• Alys Karstark is now correctly assigned as the daughter of Harold Karstark
• Harrion Karstark now dies during the Battle in the Whispering Wood
• Smalljon Umber now dies during the Battle of the Bastards
• Ned Umber, son of Jon Umber, now dies during the Battle for the Dawn
• Eddard Umber now dies during the Battle of the Bastards
• Ludd Whitehill now dies executed by Lord Rodrik Forrester
• Gryff Whitehill now dies executed by Lord Rodrik Forrester
• Assigned Tormund Giantsbane as Lord of the Dreadfort
• Assigned Brienne the Maid as Lady Commander of the Kingsguard
• Fixed GUI bug related to the “Lady Commander” title
• Fixed localization issue for Lord Philip Foote
• Fixed title_history errors in the 8303.12.31 bookmark
• Reassigned default locations of Viserion and Rhaegal to Dragonstone
• Viserion is now female
• Lord Beric Dondarrion now leads the Brotherhood Without Banners
• Ser Thoros of Myr remains in the Brotherhood in the first bookmark
• Ser Gendry “the Bull” now accompanies the Brotherhood in the first bookmark
• Sandor Clegane now accompanies the Brotherhood in the first bookmark before later dying at the hands of Ser “Robert Strong”
• Ser “Robert Strong” now dies at the hands of Sandor Clegane
• All Stark prisoners imprisoned in the Dreadfort have been released
• Added Haldon Halfmaester, Rolly Duckfield, and Septa Lemore to the Conqueror’s Band
• Added nicknames for Jon Connington, Haldon, and Duck
• Princess Arianne Martell will now follow the Conqueror’s Band for gameplay purposes
• Adjusted Golden Company history — Ser Franklyn Flowers is now the Captain-General of the Golden Company

Historical Adjustments
• Adjusted deaths of:
– Harry Strickland during the Battle of King’s Landing
– The Tyrell family during the destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor
– The main branch of House Frey
