THE ROARING KNIGHT

The Roaring Knight is a glass-cannon blade-wielding setup rushdown. They can hit large combos with relative ease using their SOUL Mark. Their great range, speed, and plentiful options comes at a cost, as they are easy to hit, have low kill power, and are VERY light. Try not to get overwhelmed as The Roaring Knight approaches from the dark.

– Applied by FSpecial, NAir, and FStrong’s Tipper. If the move is RED, it applies the effect.
– Timer is slightly extended by all hits with the Black Knife.
– Applying the mark with FStrong’s tipper will make it last longer.
– When The Roaring Knight is hit or parried, the status will end early.
– Gives various other moves additional benefits. See below.

– Hitting an opponent above 125% with USpecial while they have the SOUL Mark active will SWOON, instantly killing them.
– In case you forget the % threshold, opponents above 125% will have their SOUL visibly shake when revealed. Additionally, upon going over 125%, your HUD will display a message hinting at the opponent’s ability to be executed.
– There’s also a brief animation when hitting a player over 125%. Really, if you don’t see it coming, it’s on you.

– Spawned by Jab3 and DTilt.
– Good combo extenders.
– Decent area denial.
– If a marked opponent exists, DTilt can be held down to angle the sword, then when the attack is released, the sword will appear at the marked opponent and track them.

– Spawned by DSpecial and UStrong.
– Tap DSpecial to spawn or detonate the star. Hold DSpecial to relocate the star freely.
– If you input UStrong while a DSpecial star is already placed, it will rise that star instead.
– While charging UStrong, you use the movement inputs to subtly move it laterally and vertically.
– If you USpecial into the star, it will refill your USpecial, consuming the star in the process
– FSpecial has massively increased range specifically to grab and relocate the star. Holding a direction after hitting the star with FSpecial will throw it in that direction.
– The star’s power grows with UStrong charge, even if it wasn’t spawned by UStrong.

– DStrong can be performed while midair!
– The knockback from DStrong is dependent on how far the swords have traveled, allowing for it to serve as a "reverse-launcher"
– The maximum number of swords spawned by DStrong is 5!
– If you hit your DSpecial Star with 3 DStrong swords, you can imbue it with your will, creating a FOUNTAIN. This is a large and powerful uproar of energy that can hit yourself.

– Hitting a marked opponent with DAttack will let you cancel it into any Aerial but DAir.
– Input an aerial during the hitpause, its as simple as that!

– NSpecial2 can be done out of Jab1
– USpecial will only put you into pratfall if you don’t hit anyone. Use it offensively!
– Opponents caught in NSpecial1 can heal up to 10% from grazing.
