Description:

My attempt at porting over the 1943 Kharkov campaign first developed by Wiga (support him, not me).

I only have the first mission made. I had to tweak a few things and modify stuff to get everything to work (I tried for a long time to get the destroyed JU-52 to have manned MG34 turrets, but gave up after many failures), so it is not a perfect replication. I used some assets from the 1946 Last Grenadier mod so you will want to have that activated. Most of the assets are from MOW AS2.

I’d say 99% of the map resembles the same assets as the MOW AS2 version, though there’s probably a tree or a bush here and there that I missed. Some of the stuff I settled for was stuff I thought looked close enough.

I used a mix in terms of human soldiers. All the Germans are from GOH, but most of the Soviets are from the 1946 Last Grenadier mod. I also modified some of the music with some stuff I thought sounded cool.

Also, I added some options for difficulty level:
Easy and Normal – Free panzerfausts and unlimited ammo (ai controlled units) for the most part.
Hard and Heroic – Ammo available is whatever is on the map.

It’s a relatively short mission, I’ve been contemplating whether or not to lengthen some of the stages (the first stage in particular seems pretty easy to me).

From a historical standpoint, there are some weapon anachronisms for what was around during the third battle of Kharkov, but the original mod was also a bit anachronistic, so I tried not to go too over the top (so no STG-44’s…. except for Hartmann). I included panzerfausts just for fun too, but whatever, I’m not making a documentary.

I will try to convert the other two missions when I have time. The file size is large because the assets I need in the future are already included. The original size of the MOW AS2 Kharkov mod was 4.54 GB, so maybe I exported an additional skin here and there that I didn’t need to, but whatever, I guess you can play around with them in editor if you feel like it.

This took me forever and it’s my first time making a mod. I do not claim to be great at this, so do not expect perfection.
