CEE NameTags
A lightweight nameplate mod that shows names above qualifying named NPCs from a configurable distance – no walking right up to them, no aiming at their face, and no guessing whether that thrall is worth checking.
I planned to add filtering by professions, but it’s being a pain. Perhaps another time.
Features
- Always-visible named NPC tags
Shows floating names above qualifying named NPCs while they are within range. - No aim requirement
Names are shown without needing to directly target or focus the NPC. - Filters out generic NPCs
Lower-tier and generic enemies are ignored, keeping the screen cleaner while still highlighting important named NPCs. - Configurable view distance
Each player can choose their own NameTags distance from 1000 to 10000. - Player nameplate toggle
Players can disable other player nameplates if they prefer a cleaner screen. - Dialog NPC toggle
Dialog NPC nameplates can be enabled or disabled separately. - Per-player settings
Each player can control their own NameTags, distance, player nameplates, and dialog NPC nameplates. - Uses Conan’s native floating names
No bulky custom HUD panel. The mod uses the game’s existing floating name display for a cleaner look.
