Herald’s Starting Diplomacy Mods – The Black Pit Tribe
HSDM – The Black Pit Tribe is a small mod for the Immortal Empires and IE Expanded campaigns which pits the Black Pit Tribe against Marienburg instead of Middenland at the start of the campaign.
The goal of this mod is to relieve pressure off of Middenland and Reikland early on, possibly prevent the Barrow Legion from venturing too far north if they declare war on Marienburg, and to prevent factions from Athel Loren and Bretonnia to declare war on the Black Pit Tribe and occupy a part of Middenland, which the Black Pit Tribe usually takes over from Middenland.
This change was deemed necessary after testing Herald’s Start Positions – Alberic in Bretonnia, as AI-controlled Alberic would sometimes end up owning parts of Middenland early on, crushing the campaign’s immersion. Someone might enjoy this change independently, so I’ve decided to make it a seperate mini-mod.
Also as a part of this mod, Marienburg’s faction leader was moved next to Gorssel, to be able to defend against a Black Pit incursion into Marienburg territory.
I recommend using HSDM – The Black Pit Tribe alongside my other Empire mods, and my mods in general, as they are all being developed in conjunction.
Herald’s Start Positions are now available as a single subscription mod compilation, which will be continually updated with every future HSP mod release and update.
