Mod Overview

This mod changes the standard Ravenfield match by designating one team as the attacker and the other as the defender, then enforcing a linear frontline based on the map’s point layout. Defender points that aren’t yet reachable from the current front are locked down and removed from play. As attackers push forward and take new ground, the next line of defender points opens up.

Guide
  • Use Configure Flags before starting the match. Assign a few starting objectives to the Attacker team and most or all points to the Defender team. Neutral points can also be used to add extra space between teams, and attackers will capture them as they advance.
  • Attacker Priorities:
    1. If a reachable frontline enemy point exists, attack it directly.
    2. If no frontline enemy point exists, move through connected friendly points toward the nearest enemy point.
    3. If no connected path exists, attack the nearest enemy capture point.
  • Defender Priorities:
    1. If on a frontline point, defend it directly.
    2. If not on a frontline point, move through connected friendly points toward the nearest frontline point.
    3. If no frontline path exists, move to the nearest owned capture point.
  • The frontline and progression depend on the map’s capture-point connections, so map layout strongly influences how the battle unfolds.
  • For best results, consider removing transport vehicles from the defender side, since squads otherwise remain in vehicles while attempting to defend objectives.

Configurables
  • Attacker Team – Selects which team attacks. The other team defends.
  • Attackers Always Attack – Keeps attacker squads focused on pushing forward toward the nearest valid frontline objective instead of roaming.
  • Defenders Always Defend – Keeps defender squads focused on holding and reinforcing the nearest threatened frontline position.
  • Unlock Uncapturable Points – Makes otherwise uncapturable points capturable to allow full map progression.
  • Uncapturable Attacker Points – Prevents attacker-owned points from being captured by defenders.
  • Uncapturable Defender Backlines – Locks defender backline points behind the active frontline and progressively unlocks them as attackers advance.
