Description:
No Auto Alarm

Tired of your crew hitting the alarm button every time they spot a fishing boat on the horizon? No more panicking – you’re the captain, you decide when it’s time for battle stations.

Features
  • Automatic alarm never triggers on its own.
  • Manual alarm and crash dive work exactly as vanilla.
  • Four toggles added directly to the Standing Orders panel in the "Boat" tab:
    • No Auto Alarm – enable/disable the mod on the fly. Enabled by default.
    • Alarm On Damage – optionally trigger the alarm when your submarine takes damage.
    • Alarm For Aircraft – optionally trigger the alarm when an enemy aircraft is detected.
    • Alarm For Warships – optionally trigger the alarm when an enemy escort or warship is detected.
  • Settings are saved and restored between sessions.

FAQ

Q: Do I need to start a new career?
A: No. The mod is very simple and doesn’t affect saves or career progress.

Q: Can I disable it mid-game?
A: Yes, use the toggle in the Standing Orders panel – no restart required.

Q: Can I disable UI toggles?
A: Sure, just install version 1.0 of the mod from the workshop.

Q: How is this different from other no-alarm mods?
A: It’s compatible with latest game version, have ingame UI for alarm management and fix issues introduced in similar mods like discipline calculation bug.

Supported version: 2026.1+

My other mods

Nose Down – Your submarine tilts nose-down when diving. Historical angles, per-class scaling, first-person view follows the pitch, configurable.
Torpedo Wake Detection – Enemy ships now react to steam torpedo wakes. Convoys panic, escorts search. Electric torpedoes remain silent.
