Taiwu English Name Hotfix

A temporary emergency patch for English players.

After the latest official game update, some English UI text may display unresolved internal keys such as:

  • SurName_617
  • SurName_1005
  • Desc_xxx

This patch fixes those display issues at the UI level.

**Taiwu English Name Hotfix 0.1.2**

Emergency display hotfix update.

– Added fallback cleanup for unresolved `Name_xxx` localization keys, such as `Name_468` in monthly notifications.
– Improved surname handling: unresolved surname keys such as `Surname_606` are now resolved from the official English name table when possible.
– This should prevent names from losing their family name entirely.
– Still display-only: no save changes, no official file changes.
– Safe to use alongside Taiwu Interaction Framework.

What This Mod Does

  • Cleans unresolved SurName_xxx keys in English UI text.
  • Cleans unresolved Desc_xxx keys in English UI text.
  • Fixes affected character name displays such as character panels and map character lists.

Safety

This mod is display-only.

  • It does not modify save data.
  • It does not modify official game files.
  • It does not modify game DLLs.
  • It does not create characters, items, events, or world data.
  • It does not depend on Taiwu Interaction Framework.

You can disable or remove it after the official English localization issue is fixed.

Important

This is a temporary workaround, not a full localization replacement.

If you still see SurName_xxx, Desc_xxx, or other unresolved internal text keys, please report where you saw them.
