Gondor Expedition
Submod for LotR: RIE
This is the first version of my very first mod. I initially created it for myself, so there might be some minor balance issues (any suggestions or feedback are highly welcome!).
It allows you to personally lead (and receive reinforcements for) or fund an expedition (delegating it to a vassal) to reclaim lands lost by Gondor in exchange for gold. Currently available targets are: Umbar, Minas Ithil, the Black Gate, Pinnath Gelin, Andrast, Harondor, and Haruzan.
Additionally, I have added:
– A decision to increase your level of Númenórean blood in exchange for piety (the cost scales with your character’s current blood tier).
– A decision to search for Talion’s artifacts (from Middle-earth: Shadow of War) if you hold the Minas Ithil title and meet certain requirements.
– A decision to become a "Ranger of the Black Gate" if you possess one of Talion’s artifacts, or upon creating the Mordor Watch via the base RIE decision (grants a unique trait with great bonuses).
– A decision to search for unique RIE artifacts that are normally only obtainable through adventure inspirations (Maedhros’ Sword, Lesser Rings, etc.) for a symbolic cost of 500 gold per artifact.
– Custom events related to the expeditions and artifact searches.
– The One Ring, which can be found via the artifact search decision described above.
– Everything else can be found in the changelog.
