Sew
Sew is a mid range fighter with long reaching attacks that are weak up close. Space your attacks precisely to maximize damage. Her arm swings, punches and claps deal sweetspot damage near her hands.
As a spider, Sew has the ability to climb walls, and she can crawl along the floor at surprising speed. The high acceleration of her crawl ability makes it ideal for quickly positioning yourself for landing sweetspot damage.
She can use silk to create platforms, walls, and grappling points on the stage. Use them as a barrier against your enemies, use them to traverse the stage, or use them in conjunction with your Down Special to build up speed and become a deadly projectile.
Sew has a unique set of Strong Attacks. Forward Strong, Up Strong and Down Strong are all chargeable in the air. Forward Strong and Up Strong are command grabs that can also be used to grapple toward the webs she creates on stage.
Press Neutral Special to charge the move. When the move is charged, press neutral special to create a large cobweb in the background. Use Sew’s Forward Strong or Up Strong to grapple off of it.
Sew createsa web in front of herself. Only two can exist at a time. This move can serve as a barrier between you and your opponents, or it can aid in your recovery with the help of Sew’s aerial Strong Attacks.
Has Sew create a web directly below her, whether on the ground or in the air. Only one can exist at a time. Use Up Strong to grapple up onto it from below, or use Down Strong to bounce yourself high into the air.
A crazy spinning attack that deals minimal damage on its own. Use Down Special into a Target Web to tangle Sew in a large ball of silk and fly around like a cannonball. While in cannonball form, Sew loses all control and deals massive knockback to anyone she comes into contact with. If she flies into a Wall Web, she will bounce back and gain even more momentum. The knockback and damage the attack deals is based on how fast she is flying.
After you start to descend, you can press the Special Attack button again to cancel the cannonball form and spawn a Target Web.
