Description:
Make the number of the population to be more dynamic.

Settlement Administration Building doesn’t stand for all population capacities in the settlement. Build other buildings for getting more additional population capacity in the settlement.

The population capacity of Settlement Administration Buildings are decreased. And Labour, Land Development Buildings, Inn, Schools, Conscription and some other buildings also have population capacity in this mod.

In addition, some building effects get rework. And the food also gets more connection with population. I’d like to list them more clear if I have time.

I make four lv5 resource having faction-wide buff …

Military Supply Town (lv5) :: retinue upkeep -2% Jade Master Artisans (lv5) :: corruption -2% Composite Wood Maker Camp (lv5) :: ammunition archers +5% Salt Mining Town (lv5) :: public order +5

I may make more lv5 resource having faction-wide buff or not, depending on experiencing the game or the feedback.

The ui value scale factor gets tweaked, in vanilla, it is "1000"; in this mod, it is "600".

Caution ::

I think this mod would make the game harder, because the value of pop attraction is decreased and also higher population would bring higher corruption, food consumption, and more penalty on public order. (po: from -30 to -45)

Therefore, also recommend subscribing the mod of Gov Re-modified or the HVO version. They would give you a huge buff back by useful officers. (but AI will get the buff too) 😛

Compatiable

Currently, POP Re-Modified can work with HVO. POP Re-Modified may not be compatible with the mod, which reworks building effect, population and food consuming system.

POP Re-Modified can work in EP campaign.

POP Re-Modified can work with TROM OVERHAUL (MTU + HV), surely. 😛

Started a new game with POP Re-Modified, and how the population distributed in 207.

… and kept playing this campaign. The year 214 came, and also got some spies getting more info from other factions. Population really affects the economy a lot, and it seems that AI did not have the ability to afford too many armies.

In 214, Played as Dong Zhuo, total population: 30 million Sun Ce, total population: 7.7 million (He kept war with his neibor for a long time, tho…) Liu Bei: 4.5 million (Actually he was weak, but some events made him strong, yep, the event of Liu Biao… ) Cao Cao: 279k (Cao Cao declared war to powerful Dong Zhuo, then he lost many wars, tho…)
