France XL
Had requests to make a large version of France, Northern Spain and Italy, plus Switzerland to follow on from my Western France and Brittany attempts:

I found an old template from TP1 (take no credit for the map outline, whoever did it excellent work) which I used as a silhouette to import into the map generator and levelled everything to sea level terrain … then the hard work started

Start Date: 1900
Difficulty: Medium
All cities/ towns etc are hand placed using google maps, plus have tried to keep as much flat terrain to make construction easier (dont worry there plenty of terrain!)
Industries and cargo is a mix of auto generated and hand placed
Most cities are connected along with industry, but some cities don’t have direct connections – so you the player can decide.I have included some industry in challenging locations, plus I have put Chamonix and other towns perched in the mountains for some fun and plus do your own version of the Mont Blanc tunnel or build the Lyon-Turin Tunnel …… over to you

Calais, Amiens, Rouen, Caen, Cherbourg, Lille, Paris, Reims, Metz, Brest, Vannes, Quimper, Nantes, Toulouse, Lyon, Nice, Marseille, Chamonix, Dijon, Bern, Zurich, Turin, Milan and others
