Modern Times
The mod moves timeline to 1815-2017 – you can pick any time in this era, and you’ll have reasonably accurate borders, and at least for major countries historical rulers.
Rulers of smaller countries and vassal dukes are mostly generated automatically – but there’s plenty of historical rulers like Victoria, the other Napoleon Bonaparte, Vladimir Putin, Adolf Hitler, Victor Emmanuel, and so on to play as.
Number of countries with independent rulers will expand in the future – and if you don’t find character you like, you can always use ruler designer.
To enable dynastic politics right away, every ruler has a chance to get a number of automatically generated sons and daughters of appropriate age.
Mod quality is playable but unpolished.
