More Bloodlines

This mod adds 24 different main bloodlines and makes it easier to become a saint. Having the same dynasty as your religion head makes it more likely to become a saint. This is something I made because I thought some actions in game deserve bloodlines and vanilla number of achievable bloodlines is too few. I will add more bloodlines as I get new ideas.

Compatibilities:

I am overwriting 01_scripted_effects_duels and 03_scripted_effects_sainthood files now so mods who touch these files are likely incompatible. Other mods should be compatible unless they are changing game mechanics like HIP

PS: I haven’t tested the mod extensively so it is possible that some bloodlines are not working as intended. Please report any bug you come across so I can fix it.

Added Bloodlines :

Papal Bloodlines :

After your dynasty controls papacy for 5,10,15,20 and 25 times you get papal blodlines. Having papal bloodlines make it easier to become a saint. (Event description also says dynasty is favored when chosing a Pope however it is not implemented yet. As papal succession is hardcoded I need to make a new succession type for it to work. I may work on it in the future)

Wonder Building Bloodline:

This bloodline is rewarded when player contructs or upgrades a wonder 4 times(before contruction/improvement is completed). If any of the wonders was a holy building you get a different bloodline.

Reformist Bloodline:

For me most disappointing part of reformation was not getting a bloodline considering how much impact it had on game. With this mod when you reform a religion you get a bloodline. If reformed religion has Dogmatic nature, Divine Marriage doctrine and Temporal leadership ou get another stronger bloodline

Virgin Birth Bloodline:

There exists a virgin birth event and I think it deserves its on bloodline

Family Bloodline:

This special bloodline is awarded when 20 members of your dynasty is born with inbred trait. Characters that have this bloodline are more likely to become harelips.

China Invasion Bloodline:

Installing your dynasty on throne of China is an achievement worthy of its own bloodline.

Tyrant Bloodline:

Taking 30 tyrant actions awards this bloodline.

Hunter Bloodline:

When you finally find the white stag/tiger/lion/bear you will get a different bloodline depending on whether you killed or spared the beast.

Prolific Bloodline:

When a female character has 20 children or a male character has 30 children he/she will get a bloodline. Woman will get a different bloodline depending on whether they got caught cheating before

Godslayer Bloodline:

Killing cthulhu in lunatic event chain rewards godslayer bloodline.

King Arthur Bloodline:

As a welsh ruler winning a defensive war against a norse or reformed norse ruler and forming empire of britannia rewards this bloodline. Founder of this bloodline is awarded the sword Excalibur and only characters with this bloodline can equip Caledfwlch(Excalibur)

Triad Bloodline:

Sacrificing the pope, ecumenical patriarch and the caliph in the same blot gives this bloodline. Sacrificing those 3 during the same characters lifetime but in different blots gives a slightly weaker version

Sevenly Bloodline:

Seventh son of a seventh son gains this bloodline. There should be no daughters before seventh son

Lecter Bloodline:

Eating 10 characters grant this bloodline

Charismatic Bloodline:

You must have 5 friends, no rival and all count or above tier rulers in your realm should have 0 or above opinion of you(Not just direct vassals). Bloodline is gained by decision

Shield of West Bloodline:

Gained by defeating aztecs

Midas Bloodline:

You must have 100k gold and a yearly income of 2000 to earn this bloodline. Checks for requirements once a year on November 25

Defender of Faith Bloodline:

Most participating defender in a crusade gains this bloodline if crusader army is defeated

Chess Bloodline:

Gained after winning in chess against death(or choosing duel and surviving). 8 different bloodlines depending on your choices and score

Art of War Bloodline:

Gained after gaining a victory against an enemy whose realm size is at least 10 times your realm size and has at least 50 realm size

Female Warrior Bloodline:

Gained after winning 100 major battles(you must be a commander in battle) and winning 5 battlefield duels or having 50 duel experience as a female. There are 13 variants according to religion, culture and region with slight differences.

Hannibal Barca Bloodline:

Conquering Rome as a berber republic grants this bloodline

Writer Bloodline:

Writing 2 quality 4 and 1 quality 3 book or 1 quality 4 and 3 quality 3 book earns this bloodline

Merchant Bloodline:

Owning 25 trade posts grants this bloodline
