Victor Saltzpyre (legendary hero for Reikland)

The infamous Witch Hunter Victor Saltzpyre from the Vermintide games is now available as a legendary Hero for the Reikland. He is recruitable from the Red Moon Inn, the Landmark in Ubersreik and has his own, custom skill tree with new abilities. He is immortal by default but once you disband him you won’t get him back. Not save game compatible. As this is my first mod I hope there are not that many issues.

By changing his mounts in campaign or custom battle, you can choose one of the 3 careers from Vermintide 2. These come with 2 abilities each that are only available for the respective career. Additional abilities from the skill tree however will work for every career. I tried to represent the Vermintide 2 counterparts of the careers and their abilities as well as I could.

Witch Hunter Captain

• Starting career
• Animosity: explosion dealing no damage but giving the opportunity to escape combat while buffing melee attack and speed
• Witch Hunt: debuffs melee defence and attack of a selected unit
• Focused on dueling and skirmishing

Bounty Hunter

• Available at rank 5
• Locked and Loaded: A powerful shot for short distances, sundering the targets armour for a brief moment
• Blessed Shots: buffs missile damage and accuracy for a short amount of time
• A Specialist’s Guidance (gained trough skill tree): AOE passive buff to missile units
• Focused on ranged attacks, avoiding melee

Zealot

• Available at rank 10
• Holy Fervor: breath attack, doing little damage but buffing Saltzpyre’s speed when activated
• Fiery Faith: additional melee attack and damage when reaching 50, 20 and 10 percent of health
• Heart of Iron (gained trough skill tree): passive burst of regeneration when reaching 10% of health (recharge needs 90 seconds for next use)
• Focused on fighting multiple units but lacks any ranged attacks
