The Scarlet Ruins
5/16 Important Note: Add Clair’s Journal Compatibility Fix to the absolute bottom of the load order.
I wanted to create additional content that integrates into the base game while also enhancing gameplay with something unique.
There’s a lot of potential for quirks that isn’t fully explored within the base game so I decided to try something fun with them.
I’ve added a number of quirks, the Scarlet Quirks, with unique properties.
Their power limits a hero to only one at any time. They can be empowered with a special item to offer new hidden bonuses. Empowerment will also prevent it from being replaced.
Good luck unlocking their full potential! 😉

Minor Shards were reworked. Check the recently updated changelog below for more info.

Enemies in the outskirts of the Hamlet have become empowered from the Scarlet Corruption. These enemies are rare and difficult encounters but slaying them offers powerful rewards.
They currently scour the Ruins, Warrens and Weald.
New trinkets: Virago Voodoo Doll, Cultist Banner and Carrion Eater Eye.
New Quirks: Boosted Immunity, Scarlet Thirst, and Heroic.
I’ve provided useful information within the in-game glossary. I try to keep it up to date but some info may be outdated.
The below link contains a Quirk and Trinket Database. Info was last updated on April 20th, 2019.
