Protogen Race
This mod is in it’s very early stages, and as such may not be entirely balanced or function properly. Let me know of any bugs you find, and I’ll be sure to fix those ASAP.

Been a while, hasn’t it? This update adds a bit of new stuff, rebalances other stuff, and changes a few other things here and there.
– The Protogen mod now has support for text-to-speech voices with the StarExtensions[github.com] mod, because I thought it was funny. Also makes the heads rotate to where your mouse is pointing, and works fully with/without the mod installed.
– Added a few new fin style options to the character creator. I tried to make versions with glowy bits, but couldn’t get them to inherit the eye colour properly 🙁
– The Protogen now have their own unique starter mech chassis, as well as a craftable upgraded variant. If anything goes wrong with it, let me know. In my testing it’s been okay, but your mileage may vary.
– All 4 initial tiers of armour are now available, craftable at the Protogen workbench available at the Inventors Table level 2.
– A new upgraded variant of the starter sword, a new shortsword, & 2 new shields, all craftable at the Protogen workbench.
– Re-added clothing options to the character creator, currently just 2 options but I might make more eventually.
– Changed a bunch of recipes up, fixed a few that were broken or unimplemented, swapped the furniture to be craftable with iron instead of tungsten, and made it possible for non-Protogen characters to get the crafting stations, items, and recipes via a shop terminal craftable at the inventors table.
– Fixes a few things relating to NPC/tenants, gives them more fitting speech sounds, and enables new types to spawn like merchants and guards, which should have proper outfits. I think. (If anything breaks lemme know)
– Fixed some stuff like that pesky RAM item issue, some NPC shenanigans, and a few broken things here and there.
– Changed the design of the flag again, and also probably some other stuff I forgot
Frackin’ Universe FUSAIL patch available here[github.com], though FU itself should come with out of the box compatibility now. I will be working on my own Frackin’ Races stat add-on at some point though.
In order for Futara’s Dragon Pixel Full Bright Shader mod to work there’s a specific installation method listed in the description, read it carefully instead of just hitting subscribe. The glow effect on Protogen faces will require a new character to function, there’s unfortunately no way around that as far as I am aware.
