Welcome to the world of Chroncicles of Omniluxia, we are happy to invite you to play Eary beta of our mod.
It currently offers a vast world full of new nations on a new map. As the mod is currently in Early Beta please be aware of bugs. This is a big mod with many features and bugs are bound to happen.

Currently our mod introduces a world we made from scratch and we plan to develop it further in the future.
The map features about 3000 playable provinces and we have plans to introduce a whole new continent later.
The world we shaped was intentionally similar in some ways to our own, more in the ethno-historical sense than a geographical one. We planed the world in a way that makes it feel familiar and we took inspiration from existing fantasy worlds. So in some ways it may resemble the Warhammerworld, although not a dark fantasy like Warhammer.
mod features
The mod features many new interesting mechanics mainly for the governments right now.
Devastation and prosperity which works like other PDX titles such as CK2 and EU4.
Monarchies have feudal mechanics and their own councils that grants various buffs.
Empires will have to deal with requests from governors.
Tribes can now grant elder seats that will allow you to transform your tribe to what you need.
Steppe hordes will have authority mechanics which will make weak rulers unable to lead.
Merchant republics will have a new unique election system that features 5 years elections within 10 year terms where leaders can choose their successor. In addition merchant republics have trade post mechanics that allows them to boost the economy of a region and make a profit.

Introduction:
The continent of Omniluxia
An ago ago the world was very different but all that changed when the great empire of Zani and the great Northern alliance went to war. That war was described in various chronicles, the Chronicles of Omniluxia.
In those days the poet praised the emperor for raising the dragon banners to retake the north which was lost when the Empire was crumbling due to foreign attacks. The war was long and both sides suffered immense casualties. More than anyone could have ever imagined but in the end the Northern Alliance was slowly pushed back and in the year 668 L.C. the armies of Zani started besieging the capital.
No one could have imagined that one mage could have changed the fate of the world entirely.
Most of the Alliance had surrendered and acknowledged the territorial losses but one nation stayed strong. The great city of Petramonis, the northern star, it was the capital of the greatest of the Nations which formed the Alliance. The nation of Aramal had defender their capital for 2 years with only short breaks when the imperial army had to regroup.
In the year 770 L.C. the world felt a great shock, a magical wave tore through the land and shattered the continent of Omniluxia into many pieces. The one responsible was a mage who sought to defend the Royal castle of Petramonis. A ritual was performed with all magicians they could find. They combined their power and unleashed it. No one truly knows how much power was released that day but it was ground-shattering. After the magical wave most of Aramal laid under water and so the emperor was escorted by a mage who protected.
The emperor returned to the capital after a long journey through a collapsing continent with the grounds shifting beneath their feet and the land ever changing.
His miraculous return was celebrated. He was given command by his brother of the Western part of the empire which now laid separated from the old Capitol. He would gladly accept this command.

The present:
Now it is the year 1001 L.C. While the old days where marked with blood and fear. Magic is now strictly controlled in the empire to not let such a tragedy happen again. However, in recent years the empire has begun to crumble, ever weakening by the eternal passage of time. Many nations have adopted this same distain of Magic since the great collapse. But in even more recent years light has begun to shine. Magic is not always considered as a mere means of destruction but as an art.
A new religion has risen that preaches peace and claims that the world was created by the pure love of the gods. This new religion has been spreading far and wide.
Some nations across old Omniluxia had been forced to migrate but these processes have mostly ended now. Many things about politics and culture have been changed forever though.
Eagellia, the eastern empire, is on the verge of great change. The old Zani dynasty is without an heir and the old emperor is unlikely to produce any more. Preparations are happening as factions prepare to cease power over the empire once the old emperor dies either through peaceful negotiations or civil war.
The western part of the empire is under threat from an old foe who seems to be rising up once more under new leadership. The descendant states of the Dunydurceg almost destroyed the imperial capital in the 5t century. They are once again preparing to destroy all heirs to Morrigan, east or west.
But will their invasion of the dragon mountains succeed? That we do not know.
