Description:

** Now updated to work with any version! **

Ever dreamed of combining the strengths of the most powerful in-game Empires? I’m talking Russian streltsy, Prussian-level monarchs, Mughal assimilation bonuses, Manchu banners and Ottoman-style choice of heir?

The list of powers include:
– The ‘Russian mechanic’ is remodeled to a Byzantine mechanic, allowing the recruitment of ‘Akritoi’ infantry units that provide +25% fire damage.
– Greek-culture provinces allow the recruitment of ‘Pronoia’ units, a mixture of infantry and cavalry with +25% discipline.
– Cultures can be assimilated giving doubled bonuses compared to the Mughal assimilation bonuses.
– Can choose your own heir via a special event. All suggested heirs have bonus monarch points in each category.
– "The Rise of the Purple Phoenix" casus belli against all neighbors, allowing land for 65% of the cost.
– ‘The Karabisianoi’ naval doctrine which combines the strengths of all other existing naval doctrines.
– A new trade policy that creates conversion centers to Orthodox in any trade node with non-Abrahamic religions for a lower trade power threshold.

The new 1.30 version includes:
– Extended the Purple Phoenix CB to nearby countries (not necessarily neighboring).
– Forming the Roman Empire now keeps the bonuses.
– Added Gasmouloi for Byzantium, the traditional marine fighters for the empire.
– Three new Estate Privileges specially for Byzantium: Megas Doux, Megas Domestikos and the Bureau of Barbarians.
– Use Speculatores spies to steal maps.
– Included the Holy Orders of St. Basil and St. Theodore to boost Patriarch Authority.
– New second tier government reform: the Synkletos, which restores the Byzantine Senate. Interactions with Synkletos seats give extra bonuses, as well as new powerful Senatus Consulta (resolutions). The Synkletos comes also with factions: Illustres, Spectabiles, and Clarissimi, each with its own bonuses.
– A new mission to reinstate the Strategikon as manual for the military.
– Made the game more immersive: no longer a large amount of bonuses in the Byzantine Traditions, instead different government reforms, missions, estate privileges give you different bonuses.

Note: if someone is good with graphics, please help me make Byzantine-style icons for all the special interactions.

This mod is not tested for compatibility with other mods.
In order for all the mechanics to work, you will need some DLCs – like "Third Rome" for the reworked Russian mechanics, "Mandate of Heaven" for the reworked Manchu banners, etc.
