Russian Universalis English translation

Russian Universalis is a global modification that extends and improves the gameplay of the original game, providing players with a unique gaming experience for many countries, including new ones. One of the main features of this mod is that it starts in the year 1309.
This provides a good opportunity to take a new look at the history of that time: The Ottomans are still just a bailiwick, Byzantium is not in decline as it was in 1444, and in the east there are great states like the Yuan, the Ilkhanate and the Golden Horde. It is worth noting that the modification tries to maintain a balance between historicity and alternative developments, or rather, to give the player a choice.
Main features:
- Total redesign of the map: more historical borders of provinces and countries, increased (where necessary) number of provinces.
- Large number of states: from ancient Carthage and the Roman Republic with unique forms of government to the states of modern and contemporary history, such as Austria-Hungary, and the Turkish Republic.
- New unique reforms of Byzantium (11 reforms) are added along with more than 100 missions that not only allow you to build an empire at the time of Justinian, but also colonize Macronesia, conquer Kiev, and conquer the entire Arabian Peninsula – the motherland of Islam!
- Plenty of content for fans of extreme alternative history: the possibility of reviving Hellenism and its Christianized version, the establishment of paganism in Scandinavia and the repetition of the Norman conquests.
- The mod is not entirely devoid of historical content: the struggle of the Russian principalities against the yoke in the form of a new Yarlyk [en.wikipedia.org] mechanic, the emergence of civil war in Hungary, the decline of the Yuan, the breach of the dams on the Huang He River and the subsequent uprising of the Red Bands, the era of the rise of the Timurids, the collapse of the Golden Horde and Ilkhanate, and elaborated with the events in the decade of the great French Revolution. A separate point is the plague catastrophe, which occurred in the middle of the 14th century and could cause great damage to the state, up to complete ruin.
- Great projects – architectural masterpieces that cost a lot of money, but also give serious bonuses for construction: The Taj Mahal, the Tower of London, the restoration of St. Sophia’s Cathedral (or turning it into a mosque for Muslim countries), Versailles, the Hermitage, etc.
- Achievement system! Even if you are a hardened Vanilla player and are used to playing "for the achievements", this option is not lost in Russian Universalis. Achievements are mostly related to the mod. To fulfill them, you need to play in Ironman mode.

Even though the translations are mostly pretty good, there will always be some weird language or sentence structure, since I obviously didn’t translate the mod by hand. I don’t even speak Russian.
My self-written script did that for me. Accordingly, I have also only checked the fewest localization files for correctness and I won’t do so in the future. This mod is just to make RU playable and maybe even enjoyable for the English-speaking community, since this project started as a bet between me and a friend.

After updating my mod it has happened several times that certain files were not updated correctly. If this also applies to you, just try to unsubscribe and download the mod again.
