Vanilla Cooking Expanded – No Health Conditions
A patch for the wonderful Vanilla Cooking Expanded by Oskar Potocki, Sarg Bjornson, and Chowder. Please support them!
This patch effectively removes the Cholesterol, Diabetes, and High Blood Pressure hediffs by setting their decay rate extremely high. Compatible with any other mods/add-ons for VCE which add condiments with these hediffs. Load after VCE.
These health conditions are intended to balance Gourmet-tier foods and encourage the player to add variety to their pawns’ diets, so removing them will make Gourmet food much more powerful; this patch is for anyone who would prefer not to micromanage this aspect of the mod and don’t mind the balance implications.
Unfortunately, this patch does not apply to real life. Please resist the temptation to chug an entire bottle of mayo while playing Rimworld.
