Reasonable Trade (1.10.0 update)
Ever wonder why in mid and late game trading with smaller nations seems pointless and larger nations never seem to want any more of your trade goods? That building anymore trade resource buildings is pointless? Well that’s because the Vanilla Trade Tables punish small factions while at the same time providing no incentive to trade with larger factions by topping out way to early. With this Mod we fix all that!

I’ve scaled it this way to allow smaller nations to have a competitive advantage when trading. This gives the player an incentive to having multiple trade agreements and keeping smaller allies alive, as trading with 2 small-medium sized factions which each control only 10 regions will consume the same amount of resources as a massive faction with 60 regions. I’ve raised the max trade resources by 50% so this could lead to some high late game trade income, so please let me know if you like the concept of strengthening smaller nations competitive trade advantage, but if trade in the late game is to powerful I’d be willing to lower it as I’ve only tested it a few times in the late game. I hope you enjoy.
COMPATIBLE WITH ALL OTHER MODS unless they specifically edit trade resource consumption amounts.
