Sanguine
The map contains starting locations for 20 players and 24 city states, as well as 34 natural wonders and immersive natural borders between civilizations. All resources are present on the map and many of them are exclusive to certain continents.
The goal of this map is to have very long, late-game oriented games, centered around the very rich, visually stunning central island! The exploration and the fight for wonders and strategic resources are the focal points~
The starting locations are somewhat balanced. I didn’t make this map with balance in mind but rather with fun, exploration, and challenge. Some civilizations are bound to be underdogs and some are given a lot more room to expand (Zulu being the most prominent one). The map size is huge (106×66).
Antiquity sites and shipwrecks have not been pre-placed, they are generated once you discover the required technology.
Over 90 tribal villages have been placed on the map.
Over 100 tiles have been marked as coastal lowland (1-3).
The central island contains 3 natural wonders and a luxury resource not found anywhere else on the map. It’s heavily fortified by cliffs and mountain ranges encompassing it!

Central Island:

All the city states are evenly placed and geopolitically relevant to their neighboring civilizations. I also made sure to make most of them relevant in terms of their position on the map. I highly recommend using any mod that makes city states start the game with walls.
IMPORTANT
There might appear to be two versions of "Sanguine" in your mod list, the correct one is the one that doesn’t require the "More Natural Beauty" mod and it should be enabled by default. The one that does require it is a map file, not the mod itself.
In order for the starting locations to work properly please put the number of city states to 24- the maximum. That issue is not specific to this mod. And if you’re having any trouble with city states spawning on top of civilizations (this should never happen but the game is weird sometimes) – Here’s the list of all City States included on the map[i.imgur.com]
