No Degradation – Persistent Summons





Disables degradation effects on (with a few exceptions) all summonable units for both the AI and the player. Naturally, ability costs/charges have been backtracked to ratios similar to pre-patch degradation as to maintain balance.
Highly compatible with the vast majority of mods on the workshop including large overhaul mods. Keep in mind however that the mod is balanced after vanilla contexts.
Fully save compatible and can be turned on/off without issue mid-campaign.


TLDR: Factions can again use summons more flexibly but summonings costs are higher and charges reduced. Any and all tweaks to summons are listed in the balance thread.
With summoned units no longer arbitrarily vaporizing into thin air, they can once more fulfill long-term tactical objectives such as bolstering battlelines, guarding lords, flanking, or manning siege equipment. To compensate for their regained permanence, CA’s new summoning discounts have been reverted or diminishd. If the ability had no magic cost there might be a new special condition instead. If you have a strong argument for raising/lowering a number, visit the pinned thread and present it to not just me but the other subscribers too. Alternatively, you are free to privately edit the mod.


BUG: Disable all other mods and see if it still occurs in a new game/custom battle. Verify you’ve done this and detail who/when/what. NOT WORKING: Try the troubleshooting steps in the FAQ.
