Description:

Angel beggar appears in the basement! Adds a friendly counterpart to demon beggars, which asks for soul hearts instead of red hearts.

Angel Beggar:

• Angel Beggar asks for half soul/black hearts, having a chance to drop sacks, eternal hearts, eternal chests or an item from angel beggar pool. Unlike demon beggar, Isaac doesn’t take damage by paying hearts.
• High chance to drop Act of Contriction if devil deals were made in current run.
• Refuses donation if Isaac is going to die in the process.
• Drops up to three random hearts and summons staggered beams in random locations upon death.
• Bombing an angel beggar increases the chance to get a devil room for the floor, and donating until it spawns an item increases the chance to get an angel room for the floor.
• It can be found naturally, but rarely, in angel rooms and super secret rooms. It also has 5% chance to replace normal beggars.

Difficulty:

The chance for paying out depends on whether the game is in hard mode or not.

• On hard mode, Angel Beggar pays out after at least 3 donations, with increasing odds and a guaranteed payout after 8 donations.
• On other modes, Angel Beggar will pay out randomly between donations 1-5, with increasing odds and a guaranteed payout after 6 donations.
