Kadons Scrolls of Binding

Contribution to Team Beast as part of the Beautiful & the Beastly Mod Jam 2020 – Part Deux.

TL;DR: The mod adds over 40 different summons to the game that are obtained as magic items found randomly in campaign, allowing factions to access some creatures they previously would have no access too.

This mod Introduces Kadons Scrolls of Binding from the TT game into Total War Warhammer, so who is Kadon, what are these scrolls and how do i get them?

Kadon was perhaps the most powerful Amber Wizard that ever lived, even surpassing those of elven decent. He achieved this by casting aside his sophisticated nature and embraced his most primal instincts, breaking down his mind into a bestial form. In doing so Kadon was able to bind creatures of immense power to his scrolls, a feat unmatched to this day and a reason for them being such prized possessions.

What are they? Well to put it simply they are summoning scrolls that allow the user to summon and bind a creature to him.

How do i get them? They are obtained just like any other random magical drop in the game, but are restricted by culture group.

Currently there are two types of scrolls with two more planned to come.

• Kinship – Regular Summons, Do not suffer from unbinding – Complete
• Binding – Regular Summons, who suffer from unbinding – Complete
• Abhorrent – Not Available to faction – Future plans will make them available but dangerous to use – Incomplete
• Divergent – Strong Summons, utilising the SoM Divergent Origins – Incomplete

As said above Scrolls are currently assigned via culture, when playing as these culture groups that decides what scrolls will be available to you.
Kinship – creatures have natural affinity to the culture thus the summoning scroll has stronger bindings.
Binding – creatures have no affinity or aversion to the culture group having no effect on the bindings
Abhorrent – creatures have aversion to the culture thus are not available (currently)

Added new custom units to the campaign exclusive section in custom battles, from left to right.

Terradons, Chaos Dragon, Giant Spiders, Great Stags, Unicorns, Pegasi, Hippogryph, Griffon, Great Cave Squigs
