Description:

The year is 1928.

Over the last few decades, the continent of Virsenia has been undergoing a new industrial revolution, fueled by a resource called frescite. This green-burning mineral has countless applications from military and scientific to more rudimentary uses.

As rivalries among multiple nations already stand, and as the demand for limited frescite resources increases, the air of Virsenia grows tense. The tank engines are roaring, the soldiers are marching, choose a nation and take the field!

Setting

VIRSENIAN GLORY is a total conversion set in a fictional world, centered on the continent of Virsenia. The year is 1928, but technology resembles what was used during the 30’s, 40’s, and even the first half of the 50’s.

Make your choice – take to arms for one of the great powers of Virsenia!

Factions

– The forces of the VELIAN REPUBLIC, with their focus on storm tactics and fast, decisive actions! Quickly mobilize an assault force with the fastest and lightest vehicles available, overwhelming your opponents with your unique cavalry!

– The army of the GALLITIAN STATE, with overwhelming support from air and sea! An assortment of lighter vehicles will decimate their infantry, and your vessels will rule the waves!

– The royal army of the KINGDOM OF RENNLAND, though behind in technology, fielding the most fierce and loyal soldiers! Your tanks will crush the enemy under the heaviest of armor, deploy your superheavy tank and break their line!

– The imperial army of the NOSTOV EMPIRE, fielding mechanized infantry with remarkable firepower! Deploy the UTT-26, the Beast of Nostova, a heavy tank with incredible Anti-Tank potential, or mechanize your forces with an assortment of armored vehicles!

– The defense force of the CONFEDERATION OF ENZIA, standing guard with their unique arsenal! Fortify the frontline with a gigantic assortment of deployable weapons and defenses!

– The forces of the PRINCIPALITY OF FRESKLAND, mastering defense in depth at home and overseas! Support your friendly armor with enhanced repair capabilities, deploy weapons faster than other factions, and deploy minefields en-masse!

– The unwavering UNION OF KIRONICA, with a focus on trench warfare and support guns! Deploy the largest tanks of their class, armed to the teeth with machine guns, and tear the enemy apart from the battlefield!

– The levies and Greater Army of THE RESANATE OF CAPRINIA, mastering stealth and improvised weapons! Harass the enemy with a horde of lighter vehicles, supporting your infantry in the name of your feudal lord, or the Resa himself! Deploy traps unique to your faction to funnel the enemy into your armies!

Combined Arms Part 1 – v1.7
  • Added a plethora of new vehicles to use in most factions! Over 12 new vehicles with unique properties, models, and textures, with many more to come!
  • Added 3 new tank shell types to spice up vehicle combat.
  • Added several new coaxial machine guns (which will later become deployable!)
  • Added support for future content
  • Changed a few vehicle spawns
  • Fixed multiple vehicle spawn rates– will this be the end of Rennland’s reign of terror?
  • Altered mass values for all unique vehicles (some old vehicles may not be changed, this allows vehicles to break certain deployables or map props upon collision)
  • Altered a few damage values of AT weapons (AT weapons are less powerful)
  • Altered many vehicle sizes and scaled damage values accordingly
    (subject to change)
  • Slowed down the overall speed of most vehicles
  • Added support for future vehicle workflow
  • Added support for future naval assets
  • Added support for future deployable assets
  • Added support for future special weapon assets
  • Began to add support for future mapping assets
  • Fixed a few small script errors
  • Fixed collision errors with many vehicles
  • Fixed the KPT-26 not being crewed! Nostova will prevail!
  • Hopefully fixed the crash error on Final Mission II
  • Much, much more specific changes! Go find them for yourself!
  • Combined Arms will launch in 3 separate updates focusing on adding specific vehicles to specific factions, stay tuned for future vehicle updates
