CJ’s Campaign Configuration Mod – Requires Mod Configuration Tool
With great power comes great resp…..oh, who am I kidding? You guys are totally gonna use this to cheese the game in all sorts of hilarious ways.
This mod allows you to adjust settings for your campaign, for both the player and the AI. Currently implemented are:
– Lord instant rank
– Research rate
– Public order
– Corruption (untainted, chaos, skaven, and undead)
– OP legendary lords
– Diplomacy preference / aversion
– Climate settings
– Growth (including hordes)
– Army upkeep
– Tax rate
– Recruitment cost
– Building cost
– Post battle loot increase/decrease
– Sack/Loot/Raze income increase/decrease
– Raid income increase/decrease
– Winds of Magic
– Background Income (implemented via increasing tax in faction capital. Actual background income wouldn’t change via script.)
– Trade Income
– Horde Upkeep
– Anti-Snowball Penalties
– Adjustable unit stats (health, morale, etc.) that will apply to all armies.
Planned (in no particular order) are:
– Hero/Lord XP Gain
– Unit recruitment time
– Construction time
– Unit recruitment slots
– Movement range
– Additional diplomacy settings that allow you to choose two factions or cultures and set up a head-to-head aversion/preference. Example: make Dwarves and Greenskins best friends, or have a High Elf vs. Empire world war.
In theory, you could invent new and interesting difficulty levels. For example, maybe the Empire campaign is too easy for you. Try adding a +5 chaos and +5 vampire corruption to all your regions and see what happens. You like playing High Elves but hate being allied with half the map? Add a -25 diplomacy aversion to your faction. You like playing on very hard because of the way the AI behaves, but the bonuses to AI growth are killing you? Add a growth penalty to them to negate it.
But let’s be honest. Watching the AI have a rebellion in every province after turn 1 is hilarious. You won’t be able to control yourself.
Works best with new campaigns, but will work with saved games by doing the following:
1. Load your campaign
2. Adjust settings and finalize
3. Save your campaign
4. Re-load the save game
As many as possible of these effects are done through scripts, which makes this mod highly compatible with other mods. Before reporting a bug, please run this mod by itself and see if the bug still occurs. Most bugs being reported are from interactions with other mods.
Report bugs here, or find me on Discord (CJ3200 #3777) https://discord.gg/d5vSDpt.
Let me know if there is something else I should add to the planned list.
Enjoy.
