The Powder Keg Class Mod

"A survivor of Old Yharnam and a Hunter who escaped the Dream!"

The Powder Keg is a new class mod for Darkest Dungeon inspired by the Powder Keg Hunters of Bloodborne. Having traversed the depths of the Chalice Dungeons, the Powder Keg had managed to follow a series of tunnels and rooms that eventually exited onto the coast near the Hamlet. His class uses a variety of techniques shown by the Hunters of Bloodborne, using high speed and devastating attacks to their advantage.

Wielding his trusty Rifle Spear, the Powder Keg continues his duty of protecting the common folk from the beasts that plague the land around him. Slash and shoot your way through the hordes of monsters that threaten the estate!

Spear Thrust

The Powder Keg lunges forward with his Rifle Spear

Standard melee attack. Deals bonus damage against bleeding targets.

Flak Shot

XXOO O+OXX
The Powder Keg fires his Rifle Spear, the wide spread hitting multiple targets.

Decent damage against front two targets. Moves the Powder Keg back one. Makes targets easier to stun.

Staggering Shot

XXOO OOXX
The Powder Keg lets off a well timed shot, staggering his enemy and stunning them.

Low damage. High stun chance. Slows target down considerably.

Nail Bomb

XOOX O+O+O+O
The Powder Keg lobs forth a nail bomb.

Low damage. Deals Bleed.

Visceral Attack

XOOO OOOX
The Powder Keg dashes towards his staggered apponent, tearing into them without mercy.

Low damage, high damage vs stunned. Deals bleed vs stun. Removes stun and applies stun remove buff. Moves forward one.

Rallying Slash

OOOX OOXX
The Powder Keg retaliates, rallying against his enemy to regain health.

Forward 3. Low damage. Low healing. Triggers riposte that heals for 3 turns.

Blood Bullets

XOOO
The Powder Keg draws from his own vitality, generating strong bullets of solidifed blood.

Deal 15% damage to self. Set bleed for two turns. Increase accuracy, damage, and crit for ranged weapons.

Blood Vial

Time Cost: 3
The Powder Keg injects himself with a vial of the Healing Church blood, revitalizing himself.

Self heal.

Warding Incense

Time Cost: 3
The Powder Keg lights multiple incense that’re known for warding off beasts.

Reduce party surprise chance. Increase monster surprise. Prevents night time ambush.

Lead the Hunt

Time Cost: 3
The Powder Keg rallies the party to fight on.

Bonus damage against beasts. Reduces stress received and increases scouting chance at low torch light.

Workshop Tools

Time Cost: 2
The Powder Keg has mastered his tools used to improve weapons and mechanical devices.

Bonus crit, stun chance, and move chance on ranged skills.
