Tribal Psycast
If you find royalty ruined the original rimworld lore but still want to have some new features in your game. This mod will alter some mechanics of the royalty additions:
This mod will split evolution trees for traditional shamanic tribal people and tech-related royal empire to fit the original Rimworld lore.
Royal titles will only give royal permits and access to the imperial trade, but not the psychic abilities or psy-links.
Empire is only scientific faction and hate everything supernatural.
Tribal people will practice shamanism and have an unique access to the psychic abilities and psy-links with rare Anima Trees.
-Removed meditation focuses from most traits, except for pyromaniacs.
-Removed Psychic Amplifier from the game, replaced with imperial Psychic Disabler which will block any human-like senses from people making them a true tech-soldiers.
The only way now to have psy-link is linking to anima-tree with tribal origin.
-Removed concentration gain from medidation without drug high. Now you will have your tribal pawn take some drugs to restore concentration.
-Added new rare trait "Medium" that let regular pawn meditate with anima tree and have a psy-link.
-Removed psychic properties from high-tech imperial armors, removed psychic apparel from imperial quest rewards and stock.
Mod requires Royalty to be installed.
This mod is safe to add to the existing save, however the existing psy-links on titled pawns will stay.
Royalty Tweaks – Should be compatible with this mod.
Powerful Psycast AI – Also should be compatible.
Build near anima trees – "Tribal Psycast" also reduces anima tree build restriction range a bit. Depending of mod load order it’s range will be changed more or less.
Faction to Empires (Continued) – Factions should be safe to load.
Medieval royalty – Also should be compatible.
This mod does not change much on the game mechanics, however please be aware of some buggy behavior or broken stuff.
