Germicidal UV Lamps

Germs are quickly destroyed in the presence of ultraviolet light. This mod simply adds an amped up, oversized UVC lightbulb so you can kill all the germs! It also comes with a smaller ceiling light that also kills germs.

Requires the Micro-Targeted Medicine research.

The building’s UV light reaches up to three cells away from the building and only cells that are in line of sight.
Every "tick" (~200 ms) 60% of the germs in the affected cells are destroyed. After 1 second this should effectively destroy all germs in a cell.
The building affects any gas or liquid in a cell, buildings, items on the floor, and items on shipping rails.
Be careful not to put these near your Dupes though, 1 kW of UVC exposure will definitely give them a sunburn!

If you’re having trouble with how much power this lamp consumes, try automating its duty cycle with some germ sensors! It only needs to run for a second or two.

Building Materials: 50kg of Metal + 50 kg of Ceramic
Requires the Pathogen Diagnostics research.

This lamp draws a lot less power and kills only 10% of germs per "tick". However, it does not give dupes sunburn and makes for a convenient airlock, bathroom, or hospital lighting solution.

Both the Sun Bug and Royal Bug have the UVC light effect.
The Royal Bug affects a larger radius than the Sun Bug, and has stronger germicidal power.

This mod has an Options button in the mods menu for configuring all kinds of settings for the mod.
