SERIES 1-201 VERSIONS OF 1950.
The prerequisites for mass model housing design and construction in the USSR appeared with the adoption on February 11, 1936, of the decree of the Government and the Central Committee of the CPSU (b) on streamlining and reducing the cost of construction. In this decree, for the first time, it was officially announced the need to create a large construction industry based on the industrial production of construction parts, semi-finished products and structures. From this moment, the preparation of pilot projects and the construction of the first standardized buildings in the country’s cities begins.
In 1940 out of the SNK and the CPSU(b) on the state development plan of the national economy, marking the course of the construction of houses in cities and villages of the local wall materials in 1-2 floors. In this connection, multi-storey buildings in cities are slowly beginning to change to low-rise ones. A sharp increase in the scale and volume of standard housing design and construction begins during the Great Patriotic War. To deploy the industrial enterprises evacuated to the east, it was necessary to build a large number of small working settlements from standard houses in a very short time.
One of the most successful sets of low-rise residential buildings of the 1940s was created by architect Maslikh S. A. from the Architectural and Design Workshop No. 1 of the Ministry of Oil Industry of the Eastern Regions of the USSR.
Typical projects of Maslikh S. A. were combined into 201 series, which contained 2-storey projects No. 2; № 9; №12; №13; №18 (Figure 2)
Marking projects Maliha S. A. standard meant that due drafted working drawings of the building of houses was possible to bind to the areas of construction, and the building was to produce in the short term and relatively cheap due to the unification of all projects 201 series sizes repeatedly repeated elements and parts of the house, as well as detailed descriptions of typical technological operations of the construction works with a large share of their industrialization. All projects of the series had two versions of facades: front and normal, as well as options for the implementation of stove or central heating.
Spread 201 series contributed a large part of its member house designs that can be placed both on the red line or indented from her, and for intra-and angular development, allowing you to design from entire neighborhoods or villages while preserving the unity of planning and constructive solutions. It was this opportunity that favourably distinguished the Maslikh S. A. series from other typical series of low-rise residential buildings of that time.

The 201 series was redesigned in 1950 by increasing the living space by reducing the loggias and verandas, removing individual street exits from the first-floor apartments. Of the rich design of the facades, only the window cornices and the painted plaster walls were left after the revision. (Figure 4)
The vast majority of residential buildings of the 201 series were built in the 1950 version, having received its distribution throughout the USSR, in almost all climatic zones. These buildings are perfectly preserved and are currently in use.
This paper presents all two-storey houses of the 1-201 series with options for central and stove heating. Since the game does not allow you to create mirror objects, 1-201-13 and 1-201-18 are presented in two versions: with the execution on the left and right corner of the streets, respectively.
