Small tank, tank duo, and 4 tank farm (4 tanks, 1 building)
One small tank with 120 tons of storage space, one 2 x 120 tank farm, and one 4 x 120 ton tank farm, so you can store different liquids in the same building.
When connected to a production facility, the tanks fill in order (so one tank will fill before starting the next), but the pump and vehicles put it evenly in all tanks. You should use the “[ ] store this item” option boxes if you want to make sure the tanks don’t switch if emptied or when you start filling.
The farm costs a little more than the large storage tank of the base game because there are 4 small tanks that lack scale, and lots of pipes connecting them. The advantage is convenience rather than cost. It also has only one loading station, so you may need to add a loading/unloading station if you use multiple trucks.
The farm is especially convenient for storing liquid for local use, so you might have 240t fuel, 120t bitumen, and 120t oil so you can supply local industry and vehicles.
