Biological Vats
Mod Version: 2.4.1
This mod adds three new buildings to the game:
Algae Vat
This building works the same as the Algae Terrarium regarding the funcionality; it produces oxygen from algae. One Algae Vat produces the same as four Algae Terrium plus the light bonus, but consums 25% less water and 50% less algae. One special funcionality is the fact it can absorb Carbon Dioxide from its surroundings, adding an extra production of polluted water, enough to balance the amount of water depleted by the Algae during its biological process. The building does not need Carbon Dioxide to work. Also this building has a piped Oxygen output which is also is not required; if no pipe is placed, it will release the oxygen on the environment. The building can be researched at the Advanced Oxygen, and its avaliable at the Oxygen Generation tab. See image 1 for more information.
Coral Vat
This build produces clean Water from Salt Water or Brine. Different from the desalinator however, this building produces BleachStone from 10% of the Salt which is extracted from the liquids. The building also has
the special functionality to absorb Chlorine Gas from its surroundings, adding an extra production of BleachStone. The Coral Vat can be researched in Liquid-Based Refinement Processes Research, the same as the Ore Scrubber and the Desalinator. See image 2 for more information.
Slime Vat
This building produces Slime using Water and any Mush Bars. The slime it produce is contaminated with Slimelung, so watch out for disease issues. In the presence of Polluted Oxygen it will produce extra slime, but this is not a requirement for the building to work. Why I used water instead of polluted water? That’s because this is a controlled growing environment that require clean things for its microorganisms to turn in to specific product. Supposedly contaminated stuff may come with undesired bacterial and contaminants that would ruin the product. And no, I will not make any config file for this mod. See image 3 for information on the Slime Vat.

– Vats for decoration purpose.

If you are experiencing crashes, before posting any comments, confirm this check list:
– Check if the mod version presented here in the description match the mod version in the game.

– Check if its not mod conflict. Disable all mods but leave this one active, then restart the game.
