Description:

The endless tide of skaven threaten to overwhelm your lines. Fear takes over as you grip your halberd and thrust it into neck of yet another verminous rat. Then something miraculous happens… out of nowhere, they all just drop dead. It wasn’t the work of the college wizard who’s been bolstering your lines, it wasn’t Big Daddy Franz on his Griffon Deathclaw, it was the matrix deciding that those rats time had come and the best way to handle it was to abruptly kill them all at once.

This mod makes it so summons rout off the field when their timer is up. Instead of all dying instantly like a bunch of falling dominoes, they’ll get hit with a -500 leadership debuff, which causes them to shatter within seconds and run off the field. Undead and constructs will crumble at a rapid rate when below 100 leadership, but more importantly manticores, skaven, cygors, and any other living units will flee from the battle instead of all faceplanting in the mud.

This does give summons 2 or 3 extra seconds of fighting that they normally wouldn’t have, but all in all this shouldn’t make the game unbalanced. Skaven might do a little better since their broken summons can still act as meat shields as they flee the field.

This mod should be compatible with everything, and it will work on custom unit summons too. I use this method for my own summons in my Sartosa Overhaul and Skaven Rework
