Description:

Extended Timeline is required.
Most DLC’s are recommended (but not required!).

Extended Flavor is a submod for Extended Timeline that adds extra content to various start dates and time periods, with a focus on the year 1836 and onwards. Additions can be found in almost all major bookmarks after this date, such as the Victorian Era, WW2, Modern day, and can also be experienced by waiting for the Industrial Age to begin in a game started even earlier.

Featuring:

  • Improved and polished start dates.
  • Tons of new flavor events for various countries.
  • New disasters recreating historical events. From the Revolutions of 1848, to the Xinhai Revolution in China, to the Spanish Civil War.
  • 100+ new tags.
  • Election systems for constitutional monarchies, and reforms allowing prime ministers to become rulers.
  • More meaningful Ideologies, government ideology plays a significant role in diplomatic relations between countries.
  • Dynamically changing countries. Some countries can change name or appearance based on government type, government rank or subject relations.
  • A Sphere of Influence mechanic, Great Powers can influence smaller nations and eventually add them to their sphere of influence.
  • A Civil War mechanic. Historical civil wars are represented using warring tags fighting over who gets to unify the nation.
  • Numerous historical peace treaties to make historical conflicts end in prettier borders.
  • Great Wars, with peace options to dismantle other empires.
  • Some ET bugs fixed.

…and much more. If you want a more detailed rundown of changes and/or features, check the changelog.
