Clear Sky 2.0
Have you noticed how much fog is on the map? How everything looks white and washed out? This mod fixes that by giving the map a clean, crisp new look which is easy on the eyes.
- Removes ambient fog (NOT the Fog of War); most noticeable with low camera angle.
- Removes the ugly cloud skybox reflection from the seas; looked really bad when panning the camera.
- Moves the sun’s reflection on the seas to the side (still there, but off camera); nobody wants sunshine in their eyes.
- New hand-crafted texture for the paper-map.*
*Also included are two optional replacements for the paper-map that have more "textured" seas; one darker, and one brighter. You can easily swap between them by following these steps:
1. First find the steam directory that you have this game installed within.
2. Then you need to find this mod, which you will find here:
{YOUR STEAM DIRECTORY} steamapps workshop content 859580 2405608487
3. Then navigate to gfx map textures readme.txt for the final instructions.
