Hi followers and fans!!
Now is the time of Bretonnia!
If you enjoyed my other Uniforms and Heraldry mods, now with this cosmetic pack you can reach a more lore-friendly appearence for almost all Bretonnia units.

Since Bretonnia was released, I felt that its vanilla appearence was far far away by a correct lore-friendly appearence:

1) Lack of models variants and excessive monotony of redundant textures (in particular how the uniforms faction colour is managed, all the same).
2) Lack of more shields variants (for all shielded units, lords and heroes included).
3) Missing of any kind of heraldry.
4) Obvious feeling that Bretonnia models and textures are the result of a hurried job.

With these things in mind I started this big retextures project.
I re-worked and worked from scratch a lot of textures adding tons of variants referring always to original tabletop models and painting schemas.

The results are:
– About the Shields: Man at Arms have faction-bounded shield heraldry; new tons of shields for all chivalry units (with differencies between regular knights and grail ones); faction bounded Lords shields patterns.
– About Man at Arms and Yeoman: new uniforms textures (finally they meet the lore standards,and have little differencies about Dukedoms they belong)
– About Battle Pilgrims: new and more diversified clothes (now they don’t seem cloned by the Lady)
– About Paesant Bowmen and Paesant mob: new and more different clothes (now they correctly seems paesant)
– About Knights of Origo: added faction uniforms and shields
– Integrated a compatible version of Merwanor’s "Quivers for Bretonnia" mod (big thanks to Merwanor)

MOUNTS HERALDRY SUBMOD: Download the mounts heraldry submod to have a better lore friendly experience. As I explained in the mod description, actually is impossible to match shields emblems with bards emblems (it will require probably a script that I’m not able to do actually).

Well, this short description is not eough to describe the big big work I’ve done, so I suggest to try this mod. I’m sure you will be pleased.

A lot of you know me, and you know that when I plan lore-friendly goodies I do lore-friendly goodies …
I was a Warhammer Fantasy Battle miniatures collector and painter since I was a child. I collected a lot of miniatures of different races (Empire, Dwarves, Orcs and Goblins and High Elves). I ‘m an accurate observer and interpreter of Warhammer Fantasy World lore and sometimes I would like to consider myself as a sort of Lore-Keeper… ;).

The main guidelines I used to make heraldry and shields emblems are taken from all recent warhammer fantasy official documentations.
Every textures was wisely edited keeping always in mind these documentations and, if missing, keeping always in mind lore standards.

As explained in the main features, I reworked almost all units textures and shields. These new reskins are made not for all bretonnia factions present in the game but for Mortal Empire ones only.
So this heraldry mods is made actually for these Mortal Empire bretonnian factions:

– Artois
– Bastonne
– Bordeleaux
– Carcassonne
– Couronne
– Lyonesse
– Parravon

– Knights of Origo
– Chevaliers de Lyonesse
– Knights of The Flame
– Thegan Crusader

GRAPHICS AND VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS SUGGESTIONS

I suggest people to use Reshade [reshade.me]. With this new FX Injector you can directly create your custom profile.
Please, read the Reshade instructions and installation process in the official site forum.

To load the preset on Reshade click "HOME" key, then you will see a bar with a "+" at the top , click the "+" key and add my preset.

Warning: using this mod with others Bretonnia reskin mods could break the final result and a full lore-friendly game experience. So use other reskins mod at your own risk.

This mod is a part of a big lore-friendly retextures project. Other uniforms and heraldry will be realized for other faction too and probably those graphical mod will be used for a possible new regional recruitment system… soo do not forget it! 😉
