The Buried Class Mod

The Buried is an all new class mod for Darkest Dungeon. She is an evasive damage dealer, fully capable of defending her allies, but afflicted with the crippling horror of the things she has seen.

A former crusader, she was taken in as a child and taught the ways of the Light by the pious clergy, never knowing that it was their crusades that left her orphaned to begin with. She was trained to fight alongside her newfound kin in the Light’s cause when she came of age, never knowing that something unseen twisted the motives of the church… something manipulated their faith and drew them in… to accomplish the unquestioning bloodshed It needed.
Never knowing… had never really been the problem. After briefly catching a glimpse, however… she will never be the same…
Now she knows of Its troubling existence.
Now she knows what It made her and thousands of other crusaders do.
Now she knows where she must go.
Now she knows how to make it right.

She is technically a transformation class, but thematically she doesn’t change at all. Her transformation merely symbolizes how well she is handling her fear and trauma in that moment. You won’t really know until her turn; one can never tell, as an observer, what others are thinking. She begins every combat in Sedated mode and, depending on her skill usage, might enter Lost mode as her mind loses track of where—and when—she is.
In the event she reaches 100 stress, she will always become Shattered. This affliction has its pros and cons, making her strikes more forceful, but also hesitant as the lines between friend and foe are blurred beyond her comprehension.

All of her attacking combat skills (as of version 1.4) have increased lethality based on her stress level.
She receives bonus CRIT chance at over 40 stress / over 80 stress / and if Afflicted. These stack for a potential total of +15% CRIT.

-the Collectors trinket (Ashras Head) has been slightly altered from the version in the images, as it needed to be slightly rebalanced.
-Currently the localization is all only in english, my apologies! It is, however, fully implemented so it shouldnt leave broken strings regardless of what language you use.

-The Buried is not religious…not anymore.
-Her canon name is Ashra.
-She frequents the House of the Yellow Hand.
-On crit, she buffs her dodge.
-She has a town event, so you can get one immediately.
-She moves up to 2 forward or 1 back with the move command
-This mod includes 8 trinkets (1 Collector & 7 Buried-Only trinkets-received once / can’t be sold)
-This mod includes 4 new, situational monsters.
-She has 4 alternate color palettes.
-She brings a hidden stash of Laudanum on every quest.
