Balkanized World
Balkanized World is a mod that… balkanizes the entire world. It’s essentially my take on the shattered Europe/Earth mods. Every nation with cores at the 1444 start date has been released as an independent nation and all foreign cores and subject relations have been removed. Additionally, over 30 revolter and event tags like Malta, Zulu or Zhou have also been freed, so most tags that are in the game are now playable at the 1444 start date.
Lastly, the Mandate of Heaven has been removed, though it may be restored per event if an eastern nation with at least 350 development, 75 legitimacy, 50 prestige and 10 provinces in China owns Beijing, Nanjing or Canton
What’s been changed:
- over 185 nations have been released, including over 30 revolter tags
- all foreign cores have been removed
- all vassals, personal unions and tributaries have been freed
- all alliances and guarantees have been removed
This mod probably won’t work with other mods that change the stats of provinces, but should work to some degree with newer versions of the game, even if it hasn’t been updated yet
