Cities you found on a continent other than your home continent or captured (whatever where it is) will be regarded as a colony. +1 starting Population, +4 Gold from Luxury resources, +2 Gold from Bonus or Strategic resources.
However, the price is that City -50% Production, Science, Culture, Faith and -2 Amenities, -5 Loyalty, -0.2 Loyalty per citizen.
Cities on home continent, Build Harbor, City of London, Industrial Zone districts in half the time, and +1 Great Person points for those districts. Grant initial combat experience of naval units trained in city.
Every colony can +2% All Yield for all Mainland cities. If its population is more than 8,15, then Yield bonus will increase to 4%,6%. There is +1% extra bonus for capital city.
Special Project will be unlocked if there is a colony that its population more than 8,15. Complete those projects in colony will reduce bonus yield for Mainland cities and restore colony yield.
Acceleration of Districts construction, Bonus Great Person Point and initial combat experience will work as usual.
Governors are able to offer 2 Amenities and 4 Housing for assigned city.
Governors assigned to Mainland cities, +15% Gold in that city.
Governors assigned to Overseas cities, +4 Loyalty and +15 Inner Defenses in that city.
A districts unique to Royal Navy specializing in finance and trade that Replaces the Commercial Hub.
Districts adjacent to City of London, their adjacency bonus provide Gold as well.
Built in Mainland cities, Grant 1 Governor Title.
Built in Overseas cities, Foreign Trade Routes to this city provides +4 Gold to both cities. +1 Gold for all intercontinental Trade Routes.
Unlocks the Builder ability to construct a Tea Party Garden, unique to Royal Navy.
+2 Culture. Provides Gold equal to tile’s Appeal. +2 Appeal. +1 Culture for every 2 adjacent Woods or Mountains. +2/+4 Culture for every Wonder/Natural Wonder. +1 Culture if adjacent to River.
]+1 Amenities. +1 Amenities for every adjacent improved Tea, Sugar, Cattle.
Additional Amenities, Culture and Tourism as you advance through the Civics and Technology Tree.
Cannot be placed on Desert.
A new kind of naval unit, unlocked by Refining, has unique promotion.
