Description:

Irrigation pipes (aka Drip irrigation) for farming and water supply. Fixed for B41+

You can craft an irrigation pipe from a regular pipe, any hammer and a screwdriver.
You can put this pipe on the ground next to a water barrel, every field on which a pipe is located counts as watered.
However, after sowing the seeds, you have to manually water the fields at least once!
The irrigation system will remember this value and then automatically supply the fields with the set amount of water.
Some plants need less water and when it rains the water level rises above the set amount!
The irrigation system cannot distinguish whether the user or the rain is watering to full 100% water level.
A roof should be built over these fields.
If you want to connect a sink or washing machine, note the following.
It only works in a closed room, windows are ok, a door, a roof. It doesn’t work outside.
The barrel must be one level higher and a field behind the sink / washing machine. You can then connect it with a pipe wrench.
Water barrels that are connected to one another with the pipes share the amount of water, regardless of whether on the floor or on a roof.
This allows you to store huge amounts of (fresh) water, whether for the washbasin (clean) or for the garden (dirty) when it has not rained for a long time.
Pipes that have been laid can also be picked up again.
If you want to remove an already laid pipe, right click the pipe and choose "remove pipe", dont use a sledgehammer or such.

"Smart pipes" functionality:
When enabled, instead of constantly adding same amount of water to furrows, they will keep water levels above minimum (or in between min/max if plant stage define max). When water will be above desired level, pipes will not water furrow.
"Fill Max" value, will limit maximum water units added per cycle. Setting it at 1, will not increase water levels (and do not pre-water)
"Update not watered" – this is more cosmetic setting – it will set "Last watered" counter even if water was not added. Farming logic (AFAIK) do not care about this counter, and it’s only for player info.

Note: Mod name in mod list is called "Drip Irrigation" for backward compatibility with original mod.

-Pipes can now be laid directly along walls. Thanks to ttr who expanded the code
-Furrows (plant plots) will pre-fill slowly
-water level is keep now to optimal level per furrow
-replaces say with hollow text to not attract zombies when pick up pipes
-code workaround for 2 items on same square – WARNING: pipes will be removed from conflicting squares
-more restrictive code for placing pipes (eg disallow to place under barrels), but it will still work in reverse (placing barrel on pipe) – in that situation above error will be triggered and pipe should be removed.
-pipe removal rework – pipe will be normal object, and pick-up will return pipe instantly
-pipe placing from inventory – will fix annoyance when pipe in hand will run out
-option(s) – settings for pre-fill speed and if pipes should be ‘dummy’ one (constant fill) or ‘smart’ one (keep save levels of water)

Planned:
-auto-fertilizer – the good old function might be back)
– Vanilla metal drum support – it’s not recognized as "rain collector" by base game, so it will need to have special case for this.

Original Text:
Introduces a new item, Irrigation pipes, that allows you to lay garden hoses over your crops.
If you place them next to a Water barrel or piped water source (faucets, baths, toilets… but not wells, lakes or rivers) it will periodically irrigate your farm every ingame hour to maintain its current water level.
If you cant find irrigation pipes, you can craft them from any kind of pipe (or hoses if you use Hydrocraft instead of this mod).
Now this mod also includes Russian and Spanish translations. Thanks to Lord Hobotok for suggesting to add them, the help in doing so, and the Russian translation.

Im not the creator of this mod, .. i took over this (abandoned) mod 2 years ago, patched it for b41 and for all those who can’t make it themselves.
I am really surprised about the positive feedback and I am happy that I was able to give something back to so many people that was missing in the game for a long time.
This community is really great, I love you guys !
