Description:

Adds expanded tooltips to most items in the game describing their thermal properties. Removes the need to constantly look up the sour gas boiling point or polluted water specific heat in the codex when building a design. Also shows thermal information about building materials on the building planning screen to aid with proper material selection.

Compatible with Better Info Cards.

Information Shown
  • Temperature – Optionally in all three units of measurement
  • Thermal Conductivity – The rate at which the item transfers heat to other items
  • Thermal Mass – The heat energy in DTU required to change the item’s temperature by 1 degree of the current UI unit
  • Heat Energy – The total amount of heat in this item in DTU, measured as the energy required to raise it from absolute zero to its current temperature
  • Freezing/Condensation Point – If this element will transition into another at low temperatures, indicates the element or elements which will result and the precise temperature when it will occur (accounting for the 3 degree Celsius margin)
  • Melting/Boiling Point – If this element will transition into another at high temperatures, indicates the element or elements which will result and the precise temperature when it will occur (accounting for the 3 degree Celsius margin)
