Description:

Greetings! This mod contains the Vilnius station building without an inscription. I made this building especially for the capital of the republic, such a station will look good in the ensemble of the Stalinist Empire style.

CHARACTERISTIC

Station_Belsk_ (Without_inscription)
Station_Belsk
Building type – railway station
Accommodates 30,000 passengers

A bit of history:
The station was built during the construction of the Petersburg-Warsaw railway (1853-1862). The first train arrived from Dinaburg on September 4, 1860.
The station building was built in 1862.
After the First World War in 1918, the Lithuanian Railways were established, the headquarters and main workshops were located at this station.
After the capture of the south of Lithuania by Poland, the management and main workshops were transferred to Kaunas. Vilnius became a provincial station of the Polish railways, all communication with the rest of Lithuania was interrupted until 1938. After the Wehrmacht’s invasion of Poland, the city and the railway station were returned by the Government of the Soviet Union to Lithuania, which, in turn, became part of the USSR in 1940.
During the Second World War, the station building was badly destroyed and by 1950 it was rebuilt (in 2000 the building was reconstructed).
