The Babička Class Mod

"Too many young men go to die. I will handle this."

The Babička may be an old woman who has not seen war firsthand, but she has been hardened by a long life of loss and strife. She offers both a motherly supporting hand, and the scorn of a mother’s wrath in the field. She will stand in the way of attacks, willing to endure pain herself to spare her younger allies, carries medicines and a gentle touch to sooth their pain, and can bark out battle strategies to keep the team in order thanks to her experience. On the other side, enemies are mowed down with gunfire, her outdated firearm packing both an impressive punch against armored foes and having decades of practice to hit dead on the mark. She can clear out enemies hiding in the dark with a flash of powder to suddenly reveal them, the shock of which may be quite potent. Or, if the foe be particularly unruly, she can physically reprimand them herself, delivering a smack that many a young soldier has been forced to endure.

~~My mod work continues to improve, now with my first hero with a fully custom set of animations! PRACTICED SHOT

Babička’s most basic, and one of her most potent attacks. A simple, highly accurate ranged attack that has a portion of innate armor piercing. This skill allows for relatively high and consistent damage output, as compared to heroes who rely on mark or crit.

SHELLING
Ranged

An aoe that targets both the first and second rank, however with unique damage modifiers, dealing only -20% dmg to the first rank, but -60% dmg to the second rank. This inequal spread of damage better allows her to harm the frontliners, as their bodies block the spray of shots behind them.

SCOLD
Melee
XOOO|OOOX
A moderately damaging attack, wherein the Babička takes it upon herself to reprimand the disrespectful foes who assault your party. This skill debuffs the enemy damage dealt, and has significantly more utility when paired with some of her trinkets.

A guarding skill that buffs the Babička’s prot, however to a lesser degree than the Man at Arms, due to her own weaker defenses. However, this skill also pulls the target back 1 rank, allowing some level of tactical usage of this skill, or to allow a hero to be repositioned after a pull.

MOTHERLY CARE

A supportive skill offering both healing and stress healing potential, though not exceedingly high of either. This skill becomes more potent however when used on a target who is guarded, allowing for synergy with her own guard skill, or even another hero’s guard.

SHARE WISDOM

A buffing skill that increases the teams accuracy and reduces their stress received, though only temporarily. Additionally, this skill buffs the party and herself for bonus prot while guarding. Experiment with the utility of this skill as an alternative to similar abilities of Jester and Man at Arms.

MUZZLEFLASH
Ranged

The weakest damaging skill of the Babička, however with the highest crit rate available to her. This skill boosts torch, destealths enemy targets, and deals significantly increased damage to a stealthed target, who often don’t expect such an attack.
