Description:

General Electric’s Evolution series locomotives use 12-cylinder GEVO engines, and are extremely popular among North American railroads. It’s pretty much a requirement to see one on a main line freight train.
The ES44AC replaced the AC4400W and is the most popular GEVO model, with nearly 4,000 units produced. It makes 4,400 horsepower and utilizes AC traction motors.
