Vanilla+ seeks to give Eagle and Raven their own distinct look with new vehicles and turrets, without departing too heavily from the fun and accessible unmodded Ravenfield experience. Apart from some notable exceptions made for the sake of convenience, they are as close to being functionally identical to the originals as I could make them.
Notable adjustments include:
– New particle effects.
– Vehicles turn into wrecks when destroyed.
– AI no longer targets aircraft in tanks and APCs, allowing helicopters to take part in the action without getting sniped shortly after takeoff.
– Attack helicopter (Gunship) armament upgrades, including anti-tank missiles and a chaingun.
– Transport helicopter carries two additional passengers.
– Tank driver has access to a coaxial machine gun (Press 2 to switch).
– Attack plane machine guns no longer run out of ammo, will overheat instead if not used in bursts.
– RHIB can be replaced by the Assault Boat, with more health, passenger protection, and two heavy machine guns.
